Description
Biomedical Electronics
Course covers the biological and medical applications of electronics. Topics include biological systems and signals (ECG, EEG, etc.); sensor and transducer circuits including: thermistors, therocouples, and strain gauges. Other topics include instrumentation amplifiers and circuits; noise reduction; passive and active filtering; medical imaging systems; and medical telemetry systems. Prerequisite: 10-605-112 or equivalent.
