Class Notes
Due to COVID-19 hands on lab times will be broken into smaller groups by allowing students to sign up after class begins. Please contact the instructor with further questions. This is a hybrid course. Hybrid courses combine the flexibility of online learning with in-class meetings. In-class time is reduced for hybrid courses because some of the course is taught online. Online expectations may include online discussions, small group work, self-testing exercises, and audio or video lectures. To be successful in a Hybrid course, students should: 1. Be highly motivated, self-disciplined, and have the necessary technology skills to complete the required course work. 2. Plan to spend a portion of class time working online. You may have online course learning work, in addition to the already expected, outside homework requirements. 3. Go to the Blackboard site, https://blackboard.madisoncollege.edu/ and ensure you can log in (using your Madison College username and password) approximately one week prior to the start of the class. If you are experiencing trouble with Blackboard, please contact the Student Help Desk at (608) 243-4444. 4. Activate your Madison College email account (http://madisoncollege.edu/email) and check it at least once per week, up to the start of the class. ******************** This class may be merged with other class sections within our Learning Management Systems (e.g. Blackboard) to facilitate learning and collaboration amongst class sections. Please contact your faculty member with questions related to how this class may make use of merged sections.
