Description
Students will continue their intermediate hair skills including cut, color, design and highlighting to clientele with instructor supervision. Students will also continue to demonstrate their intermediate skills in skin theory by practicing intermediate aesthetics in facials, facial hair removal, and makeup artistry.
Enrollment Requirements
Pre-requisites: Admission to the Cosmetology program and a C or better in Intermediate Hair, Nail, and Facial Services 1, 31502354.
Class Notes
This is a hybrid course. Hybrid courses combine the flexibility of online learning with in-class meetings. In-class time is reduced for hybrid courses because some of the course is taught online. Online expectations may include online discussions, small group work, self-testing exercises, and audio or video lectures. To be successful in a Hybrid course, students should: 1. Be highly motivated, self-disciplined, and have the necessary technology skills to complete the required course work. 2. Plan to spend a portion of class time working online. You may have online course learning work, in addition to the already expected, outside homework requirements. 3. Go to the Blackboard site, https://blackboard.madisoncollege.edu/ and ensure you can log in (using your Madison College username and password) approximately one week prior to the start of the class.
